India is a marvellous country. It is a country with a uniquely evolved culture and civilization, language and literature, art and architecture, laws and moral codes, customs and calendar, history and traditions, geography and politics.

India is one billion people, speaking myriad tongues, dressing in numerous modes of apparel, exhibiting countless mannerisms and group characteristics, woven into the multi-hued fabric that this nation is.

There is certainly something very special about this country of ours, that one after another, age after age, generation after generation, great Saints like Swami Chinmayananda are born into the laps of this land to re-discover and spread the Supreme Knowledge that the Rishis of the days of yore had discovered through years of penance and research.

We, at CHYK, believe that India is no ordinary country and it is our duty as youth of this land to awaken ourselves and others to the India that is, and be proud to be Indians.
